About

Who Am I?

I was a dirt-poor kid from Portland, Oregon with eight brothers and sisters, no education, no experience and was living on my own at 17 years old. I had no expectations in life other than surviving until my next meal. But I had one significant advantage over everyone around me...AN UNSTOPPABLE WORK ETHIC!

I had my first hourly job at 11 years old washing dishes at a local restaurant and I have never, not had a job since. I started my own transportation business at 28 and have owned and operated more than a dozen companies with combined sales of more than $400 million since then.

Beginning with the transportation company that was started from scratch, I eventually expanded into gas stations, convenience stores, car washes, land development, homebuilding, and commercial real estate. I have seen it all!

So I am now looking to take what I have learned and pass it on to others. If I can educate someone to avoid the mistakes and pitfalls that I have faced, or inspire someone to go out on their own and start a business or change the way someone looks at the world, or their life, that to me would be a fantastic success.

Business has been very good to me and I am looking to give something back by hopefully educating and inspiring others. I started with nothing, have no education, and had zero advantages in life. I was on my way to a lifetime of hammering nails and emptying garbage cans. But I pulled myself up in a way that can only be done in America, and I want to pass along to others the lessons I have learned.

A husband to one and a father to three. When I grow up I would like to be a:
-Blogger
-Vlogger
-Podcaster
-Active on Twitter and Instagram.

I am intense and hungry and don't like to lose. I also try and stay humble and enjoy helping others navigate the waters that I have already come through while at the same time learning as much as I can along the way.
